Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Another must-have title for the Wii. You should probably make sure you have at least one friend to play with, though. The campaign and combat work best with a friend.

Basics:
Play as Mario and Link to fight off Bowser and Ganon. Or fight Sonic against Mario. Perhaps just have a whole bunch of everyone fight eachother. There are plenty of characters to learn and keep you entertained for a long time




Controls:
The controls are very simple and the combat is sound. Each button can do 3 or 4 different things depending on what direction you press with it. The best part is that there are no unnessecary Wii motion controls.


Music:
Remakes, orchestraded, remixed and metal versions of classic Nintendo themes. Very fun to unlock and listen to. If you unlock, for example, a Mario song, you can edit how often that song appears on a Mario stage. You can even select to disable tracks you dislike. [Pokemon][Zelda][Kirby]


Map Maker:
You can create a stage complete with spikes, platforms and moving peices of things. Fun to toy with.


Gameplay:
This is the only fighter game I've ever really enjoyed. Each character has a different style. Not to mention the new "Smash Ball" feature that causes your character to go Super Sayin if you break it. You can fight Free for All or Teams or set your own rules be it health, time, or lives. There's even a nifty "handicap" feature you can activate that will increase your enemies power the weaker they are. So you can have a "balanced" game no matter who you fight. 

Overall:

As long as you have a friend to play with you will have great fun with this game. It's still up there in price, but the replay value is amazing so it's still worth a buy.
