Plants VS. Zombies

A unique and comical tower defense game. The gameplay is addicting and the jokes will make you snicker. Rarely do casual games become so satisfyingly challenging.

Tower and Defense:
Your "tower" is simply your house. You must defend your house by setting up plants in your lawn. You get 5 rows of lawn to protect. This isn't the typical "maze setup" tower defenses seem to favor. That means that the zombies will only walk forward even if the other lane is clear. These zombies are the stupid kind. The kind that only want brains (Yes, there are other kinds).

Plants:
Peashooters, Corn Cannons, Walnuts, explosive cherries, fiery stumps of doom, hypnotic mushrooms and dancing sunflowers. The variation is wonderful and fun to play with, especially when you advance levels. Only some plants work on certain levels, (day or night, front or back yard) providing constant challenge, experimentation and adaptation to new circumstances... Or in short, "levels are fun."

Zombies:
Giants, explosive clown zombies, dancing zombies that summon backup dancer zombies, skydivers, scuba-divers, pole-vaulters, bucket-wearing zeds, tractor drivers, football players and many more. Its very enjoyable learning how to defend from, and destroy, these brain-dead, brain-craving corpses.

Gameplay:
You must click on little orbs of sun to colect solar power so you may place plants. You must click each orb very quickly or they will fade within seconds. There are zombies that are very hardy so you must click a plant then click the ground and click a wallnut to help defend another row and place a bomb for the incoming horde... and.. and...

Lots of stuff happens at once. You will be actively and pleasently overwhelmed. Though some may argue this is strictly "casual", I would argue that there is enough content to earn "casual" a positive connotation. This isn't Farmville.

Overall:
Pants Vs. Zombies is definitely a game worth playing. There's even a demo available on steam. The pacing is slow at first and very gentle. People who are skilled at games will quickly surpass the first levels and noobies will get to learn the basics at a reasonable pace. The setup makes people of all ages and of all gaming experience able to play this game with comfort and ease, soon to be accompanied by a delightful challenge. Oh, and the music is pretty catchy too.
Game for your buck?
